About Us.
Wake Forest's award-winning collegiate mock trial program was founded in 2007. It quickly became a place where students of all backgrounds could strengthen and refine their public speaking skills while finding a community with like-minded peers.
WFU Mock Trial teams travel nationwide and compete in 4-5 interscholastic competitions per school year, including the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) regional competition.

This past year, Wake Forest advanced to AMTA's Opening Round Championship Series for the first time in 12 years, a landmark achievement for the program. We invite all WFU students to audition this fall for a chance to join the team! No prior experience is necessary! We are excited for the 2024-2025 season, which will see the return of our Demon Deacon Invitational, hosted in the fall on the Reynolda Campus in Winston-Salem.
